Day 1: Yellowstone West Area

  • Begin your day by exploring the geothermal wonders of the Lower Geyser Basin. Visit the Fountain Paint Pot, where you can witness bubbling mud pots and colorful hot springs.
  • Head towards the famous Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Marvel at the stunning Upper and Lower Falls from various viewpoints like Artist Point and Inspiration Point.

Day 1 attractions are all near the west entrance in West Yellowstone, Montana. Easy access to and from, there’s no need to find a place to stay within the park if you have cheaper options in West Yellowstone or surrounding towns like Island Park, Idaho.

Day 2:

  • Start your day with an early morning wildlife spotting expedition in Lamar Valley. Keep your eyes peeled for bison herds, wolves, bears, and other iconic wildlife.
